My Loss, Your Gain Giveaway

Remember when I told you I that I had a fabric mishap that could mean good things for you guys? Well, here's how it went down. I told you here I'd ordered some linen from Pottery Barn to upholster the headboard with.

{sidenote: I just realized that post was written a month ago. Ha.. it only took me a month to get the darn thing done. You're all probably ready for me to shut up about it huh? :) }

The two options were to order by the yard or by 5 yard increments. So, I put '3' in the Qty box by the yard option. And I figured I'd get 3 yards of fabric.

Well, I got 3 yards alright. But, they were separately cut and packaged. And my headboard was just too wide for 1 yard to do the trick. Ugh. Luckily I found a fabric I liked even better (for a headboard) at JoAnns & it all worked out just fine.

So, since I have an excess of fabric (as always), I'm sending some of it your way. One lucky reader will get one yard of the Pottery Barn linen..

And this fabulous 4x6" photo frame.

To enter, you must be a follower/subscriber. Just leave me a comment telling me what you might create with the linen.

For an extra entry, post about the giveaway on your own blog. Just let me know you did so in your comment.

Giveaway ends Friday March 26 at 8:00 PM EST.

Good luck & keep an eye out for what I've done with the fabric I kept. Maybe the winner would want to share some after shots of what they do?

oh my gosh, that's aweful! I'd have been so upset when I opened and found the material was cut by yards. But, good news for us, right! haha, I'd make pillows, I desperately need pillows for the living room!

It's so generous of you to let us benefit from your mistake! I would probably make a little pillow or maybe recover a lampshade with that fabric.

That must have been frustrating to get 3 seperate yards. Who orders (or sells) fabric that way? Oh wait, I know who. :o)

I think I would reupholster the cushions on the bench at my vanity and at my cook book nook. Or maybe a pillow or maybe something creative. I'd have to feel it first!

I could use the linen fabric in so many different ways maybe to recover a yardsale ottoman that I have or as new pillows for my couch. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway.
