DIY Campaign Hardware

Usually when I come up with a fab idea, I do it myself and then show you all. This time, I'm switching it up. Since I don't have any room for another piece of made over furniture right now, I figure that one of you will probably be able to use the idea first.

Everyone's seen the gorgeous Campaign-style furniture hitting the design world lately, and I'm sure I'm not the only one to have fallen in love. Take a peek:

If you're lucky enough to live in a city with a killer craigslist, you might just find a piece of your own. However, if you're like me and don't have a good one close, you can still get the look!

All you have to do is take a plain dresser much like the mid-century one I painted:

And add some fun campaign-style hardware, like this:

{above from Ansaldi & Sons}

I'm just dying to try this idea for myself. In fact, that white dresser might just be the piece to get the treatment. So what do you think? Anyone just itching to order some hardware now??
