Jewels on a Wire

I know I'm not the only one whose jewelry ends up all tangled, so I'm guessing you'll like this little project I took on this weekend. Previously, I'd been using this little milk glass dish to toss everything in. While I love milk glass, this baby just wasn't doing the trick anymore.

With just a few supplies I crafted my own frame, wrapped it in some linen from Pottery Barn, and added some upholstery nail heads to the front.

I spray painted some S hooks and wire and strung them across the back, securing with a staple gun.

The end result was a pretty frame with tons of storage for my tangled mess.

The S hooks slide all around to accommodate all different sizes of necklaces, bracelets, & earrings.

The best part is that this whole thing cost me less than $10! And let me tell you.. it's a heck of a lot easier to see what my options are when they're not stacked up in a little ball.

Love this!! Using that fabric & nailheads to cover the frame was genius!!

I'm doing a post tomorrow about the fabric I won from your giveaway. I actually ended up giving it to a friend of mine because it was perfect for a project she was doing. Stop on by and check it out!
