Pretty Places: Pleasant Pond, Maine

This is where Zane and I spent the weekend.. I've loved this spot since I was a kid. The water is crystal clear, the white birch beautify almost every little corner of the lake, and the surrounding hills encircle you from every side.

Beautiful blue sky..

Great spot for fishing..

& gorgeous details.

And of course, we had to bring our 'baby' along..

All photos taken with our new Canon Rebel T1i, with 18-55mm lens. We're still amateurs, but already these photos are rocking my world. What do you guys think? A little better quality than you're used to seeing around here? (If not, please just leave me in my state of euphoria til I get better at this, k?)

Gorgous photos! Especially the birches.

We were driving from ME to VT one day and stumbled upon Silver Lake. I could just picture the summertime traditions people had there. I pictured kids jumping off the docks and In The Summertime playing. We don't have storybook places around here!

So glad you had a great weekend!
