Another Prayer Effort

Things are pretty much the same with Zane as they have been the past day or so. I called his nurse from the apartment this morning and found out he's still spiking fevers. While he's on antibiotics for the infections, it's evident his body is still fighting something. His vitals all remain steady, but the fevers just won't go away. Your prayers for the fevers to subside would be much appreciated. It's the only thing just hanging over our heads, so we're waiting to hear that he's made it through a day without any fevers. We know that God can heal this problem just as he restored Zane's lungs. We trust that this is just a small roadblock in the path to recovery. Thank you all again for your continued prayers- we know that they are powerful and that our God is hearing each and every one of them.

Hi Courtney, Just prayed for the fevers affecting Zane and will continue to pray throughout the day. Praying for wisdom for the doctors to figure this out or better yet that his body just eradicate the fevers. We sometimes just don't understand but our Lord does...petitioning Him for this request.....take care, Lorraine(Maine)

Courtney...That is such a beautiful picture of you and Zane! Brings tears to my eyes but as your mother well knows, my tears are close to the surface! I just feel so for you and your families right now. I'm sure that this hasn't been easy but you seem to be so strong and I know that has to be your never ending faith in our Lord! We are praying that God would take care of Zanes temperature and that those pesky little bugs would go away! God bless you! Much Love! Shelly and Coach Farrar!

Hey Courtney! My name is Jenny and I heard about Zane from my parents who live in Ohio. They have sent me your recent posts. This morning I read the first one and you and Zane have been on my heart and I have been praying. As I was reading and writing down some notes from my devotions the Lord brought you to my mind. This excerpt is from an Elizabeth George book on James. "The eye of faith will see the hand of God in all of life...When you suffer you must believe in the goodness of God and in His perfecting process of you and your faith. You must believe that He and He alone knows what He is doing. You must believe during the painful times that God loves you (and Zane) and is in perfect control of all things. You must believe in the greater-yet-veiled purposes of God. And you must believe in the results of your testings....II Cor 4:16a + 18a So we do not lose heart...as we look not to the things that are seen but the things that are unseen.

I am praying for you and Zane and I look forward to hear of the miracles God does :)

Love in Christ,

Jenny Baldwin
